£36261 to £48677 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Strategy based in the Strategy and International Business Division of Nottingham University Business School. The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and to contribute to teaching on the range of programmes offered by the School at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

Candidates should have a PhD (or be close to completion) in a relevant area together with previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects. An ability to publish strategy-related research in high quality academic journals is also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team.

This is full-time post (36.25 hours per week) and will be offered on a permanent position contract.
