Assistant Professor (Teaching) in International Relations (fixed term)

£36261 to £48677 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for a fixed term teaching-only post in the field of International Relations within the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to 12 hours per week at both undergraduate and postgraduate level delivering both lectures and seminar style teaching. The main responsibilities will be to contribute to existing modules in International Relations. The candidate will conduct assessments of student work at all levels; supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations; provide pastoral support to students and contribute to administrative tasks in the School.

Candidates must have a completed PhD (or equivalent) in the field of International Relations. The School seeks to appoint an individual with a track record of teaching excellence.

This is a full time, fixed term post available from 1 September 2019 to 31 July 2020.
