Professor of Accounting

School of Management

Applications are invited for the post of Professor of Accounting in the School of Management

(Market Supplement is payable in addition to salary*)

The successful applicant will play a key academic leadership role in the current Accounting, Finance and Economics Subject group and in the newly formed Department of Accounting and Financial Management (from August 2019)

Applicants should be able to contribute to high quality research and teaching in order to consolidate and advance the School’s strong international standing.

We wish to appoint a scholar, educated to doctoral level, with a strong and growing international reputation. The successful candidate will lead research that makes a substantive contribution to one or more of the School’s interdisciplinary research themes:

  • Centre for Critical and Historical Research on Organization and Society
  • Centre for Digital Organisations in Society
  • Centre for Research into Sustainability
  • Intercultural and international perspectives on management,
  • Knowledge and organisational learning


Applicants are expected to have a very strong track record of high quality research outputs published in leading peer-reviewed journals and the potential to further develop this record. Applicants should be able to contribute to leadership in research and teaching in a manner that strikes a balance between collegiality and independence - to contribute to, maintain, and grow an existing community of colleagues committed to excellent research, teaching and service in their work.

This is a full-time and permanent post, available from September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance of London.
