Lecturer in Heritage Studies

Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in Heritage Studies, Museum Studies, or a relevant subject area?Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University? Would you like to join and contribute to the research of the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds?

As a Lecturer in Heritage Studies, you will contribute to three modules at both Level 1 and Masters (MA) level. You will be expected to undertake the normal range of duties that arise in connection with the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including contributing to sessions, leading workshops, teaching students, carrying out assessment, marking and moderation. You will serve as a personal tutor to a small number of tutees and will supervise MA dissertations on the MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies and MA Arts Management and Heritage Studies.

With a PhD in a field related to Heritage Studies, Museum Studies, or to a cognate discipline and with relevant teaching experience, you will be passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience and will contribute to the School’s research culture as part of the Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage.
