The post is primarily associated within the Accounting Department within DUBS, which is one of three ‘research-led’ departments who share the ambition to advance world changing knowledge and secure global impact through increasingly collaborative research across disciplines with colleagues in Durham University and beyond, and balance this with true excellence in teaching across all Accounting programmes. The department comprises circa 20 faculty members with a balance of world-leading research staff and excellence in teaching across Accounting programmes.

As a department that is continuously seeking to develop challenges of both rigour and relevance, we publish our work in internationally outstanding journals and disseminate it beyond the academy. The department consists of professionally qualified teaching fellows and research staff who are already well placed to make a strong contribution to the 2020/21 REF on both research and impact.
