34956 to 46924 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic criminologist to join a small but growing team in the School of Sociology and Social Policy. This is an exciting time for criminology at the University of Nottingham with our existing joint honours programmes recruiting strongly, a new BA Criminology planned for 2018 and work well under way on our contribution to the School’s submission to REF2021. This appointment represents another significant investment in the development of criminology and the successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in research, teaching and academic administration.

This permanent full-time post is available from 1 July 2017 and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching from the end of September.
