Assistant Professor in Political Theory (Teaching Focus, fixed term) (2 posts)

34956 to 46924 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for a teaching-only post in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach up to 18 hours per week. The main responsibilities will be to develop high quality modules and contribute to existing modules in Political Theory. The candidate will conduct assessments of student work at all levels; supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations; provide pastoral support to students and contribute to administrative tasks in the School.

Candidates must have a completed PhD (or equivalent) in Political Theory. The School seeks to appoint an individual with a track record of teaching excellence.

This full time post is available from 1 September 2017 to 31 July 2018.
