URF are on the move

URF, the Students’ Union’s radio station, will be moving into Falmer House.

The University have granted the Students’ Union £21,500, which will allow them to move the URF studio into the Union’s building from their current location in Norwich House.

Ariel Cohen, Officer, said: "We’ve been working for some time to upgrade the facilities available to URF members and we’re delighted that they will be moving into the heart of the Students’ Union."

James Hickie, Activities Officer, added: "We’re so grateful for this funding and look forward to seeing URF expand and develop in the future."

Sophie Howard, URF Chair, said: "URF has improved so much over the last few years, through the hard work of all of our members, and moving to Falmer House is the next logical step in developing the station further.

"We are thrilled that we will be moving to the heart of the Students’ Union, where our presenters and producers will have a much better experience, and our station will have a bigger presence on campus."
