As part of the Edinburgh International Film Festival fringe, The Creators will be screened at the Inspace gallery on 24 June.
Groundbreaking work
Turing, who was a Bletchley Park codebreaker, is recognised as one of the forefathers of modern computing.
His forward-thinking work underpins much of the computing research ongoing today, including at the Informatics Forum.
Post-screening Q&A
Turing’s dreams and memories during the last few hours of his life are the focus of the film, which portrays a future in which thinking machines seek him out as their creator.
A question-and-answer session with the filmmakers AL Holmes and AL Taylor will be held after the screening.

The screening takes place the day after the UK premiere of the film in Manchester.
It forms part of a 12-film season at Inspace with the themes of faith and magic.
